Outdoor & Garden Cats

Save a life!!!!!!! We are working to save cats' lives from shelters where they face euthanasia and you can help.  Hundreds of shy undersocialized cats face death every year at the county facility; we are trying to find them safe homes where they can be outdoor garden cats.  Feral cats are wonderful to have around your property and they are a pleasure to watch.  They do not require much but we do ask that people make a commitment to their wellbeing by providing them  with fresh food and water daily for their lifetime.  We are searching for homes that are away from busy roads. In return for saving their lives they will keep your garden beautiful by providing you with a natural solution for rodent control.
Please Call today 707.963.7044 and you will save a life.

The following cats are private parties searching for a new home for their pets or animals in their care.

Please contact the people directly to inquire about these kitties. We Care has no direct knowledge of their temperament or traits and in no way bears responsibility for these animals. These ads have been placed on our website as part of our community service and outreach program.

Pair of sweet girls !

These little girls were in my office with me for a month and so have been "socialized" and litter trained. They dance on my desk when I work and sit on the floor and talk to me. About 12 weeks old, they are spayed, parasite free, all leukemia negative, have had first vaccinations,  and are very sweet natured-no hissy fits for these little ones. They may be shy at first but are faithful lap sitters after the ice is broken and respond to a little kitten massage with huge purrs. Contact Susan @ 253-1494

Let this Bandit Steal your heart!

Bandit  (6/08)

Hi, my name is Bandit, and I am guaranteed to steal your heart once you get to know me. I am an 11 month old spayed female, with all my vaccinations and negative testing for FIV and Feline leukemia (with a fluffy black tail that doesn’t show well in this photo).

I am a very happy lap kitty and besides playing and sitting in your lap, being petted and purring are my most favorite pastimes.  I am easy going, like other cats, and probably would get along with dogs if they have manners and respect for kitties.  I like children too, when then they are respectful of me.

I was an outside kitty hanging with a colony of feral cats that were being fed by a nice couple in Napa County, who I refer to as “Mom and Dad”.  Every day I would get lots of food and love from Mom and Dad. They would let me jump into their lap and sit forever getting pets and talking to me, which I soaked up with glee.  Unfortunately, although I was a very tame kitty, Mom and Dad could not let me into their home because they have dogs that are not kitty friendly and it would not have been safe for me inside.

I was hit by a car one unfortunate day and Mom and Dad rescued me and took me to the doctor, where I had to have staples up and down one back leg and a cast on the other that was broken.  I was also spayed at the time – three surgeries in one!!  Mom and Dad knew I was worth saving so they spared no expense in my medical care.  Due to the fact that their doggies didn’t like cats, I could not safely recuperate in their home, so Mom and Dad, through We Care Animal Rescue in St. Helena, found my foster mom, Lynn, to take me into her home to nurse me back to health.  That’s where I am living now, in Petaluma, Sonoma County, waiting for the day when I can go to my forever home with my new family.

I have been recuperating from my serious injuries for over two months and still I am a very loving, happy kitty with a great disposition and huge heart to share with some loving family.  I get my final cast off June 20th and hope to be able to go with my new family after that date.

If you have a place for me in your home and your heart, please contact my foster mom, Lynn, at 707-763-4549 or larichardson2@comcast.net.
