Pets with disabilities, or special needs animals, have always had a warm place in our hearts and in our shelter at We Care Animal Rescue.

Often considered “less adoptable” by most shelters, we find that these animals offer the most reward to those adopters that understand the unique challenges associated with animals requiring special care.

Even if your busy life-style, schedule, or checkbook doesn’t allow you to welcome one of these worthwhile animals into your home, you can still benefit from becoming a “virtual” owner and providing support to a pet with disabilities. We Care Animal Rescue will work with you to provide the necessary care, rehabilitation, and resources necessary to make sure these “less-adoptable” souls have the quality of life that they ALL deserve.

Your monthly pledge will go directly to the expert care and attention that you would like to provide, if you could.  You are welcome to schedule visiting times that work for you, and we will keep you informed of the progress that your “virtual adoption” provides.

If you are interested in finding our more about the possibility of sponsoring or adopting one (or several) of our special needs animals, please let us know.  We are willing to work with you at any level of participation.  Your heart will grow even bigger!
